BAJAUR AGENCY, August 3: Six people were died and four others wounded when roof of house collapsed due to rains in Bara Mokha area of Mamond tehsil in Bajaur tribal agency of Pakistan on Monday.
Officials and local people told that family members of Said Nazeem Khan resident of the area were in the house when roof of room collapsed due to rain.
Local people rushed to the spot soon after the incident and retrieved six bodies and four wounded from the debris and transported the injured to the agency headquarters hospital in Khar.
The victims were identified as Rafia Bibi, Madai Bibi,Said Nazeem Khan, Basheer Ahmed Khan, Rasheed Ahemd Khan and Mumtaz Ahemd whileIqbal Khan, Zakir Khan, Ahemd ,Tajbaroon Bibi and Fozia Bibi were among the wounded.
A doctor in the agency headquarters hospital told reporters that conditions of the wounded were stated to be out of danger after necessary medical treatment.
Later a team of senior officials of the administration and levies force visited the area.
According to the press release issued by the local administration here on Monday, the officials met with relatives and family members of the victims and expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic incident.
They extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and assured financial assistant with them.
