    KABUL: Former Pakistan National team captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has agreed to carry on working with the Afghanistan cricket team as coach for one year.
    Inzamam had agreed to sign a proper one-year extendable coaching contract with the Afghanistan Cricket Board today.
    “Inzamam signed one years contact today, and he will be head coach of the Afghanistan National Cricket Team. His presence with the national team will polish skills of the national cricket team,” Nasimullah Danish, Chairman Afghanistan Cricket Board.
    Afghanistan had always-aggressive bowling now there is need to improve the batting and Inzamam presense with the national team will improve the quality of the batting.
    “As head coach we were very satisfied with what we observed in T20 and ODI series with Zimbabwe and he judges that the Afghanistan national team has good cricketing talent and can move ahead,” Shafiqullah Stanikzai, CEO Chairman Afghanistan Cricket Board said.
